Please lift me and my daughter up in prayer. My husband recently passed away and did not have a will. My name is on the mortgage loan for the house (which only has one more payment) but my husband failed to put my name on the deed to the land that our home is built on. According to my lawyer, each of my grown step children are entitled to 1/3 of the property (this< includes my house). I have a 14 year old daughter and we now risk losing the home her father and I built together. This is the only home she has ever known. I am giving this to the Lord. The fear of losing my home has been overwhelming. I am so afraid about what will happen to my daughter and myself if we lose our home. My name is Keirstin (K-ear-stin). My boyfriend's grandma is very sick. About a year ago, right around this time, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She went through chemo and her breast was removed. This February, we took her to the hospital because she had fallen twice in one day and we were afraid of a broken hip... no broken hip but brain cancer. Six olive size tumors scattered all over her brain. She went through a week of radiation. The tumors were only made smaller. Two weeks ago she was taken into the hospital, she wasn't speaking clearly, she was weak, and couldn't remember anything. She was in the hospital for five days. They sent her home, because she wasn't going to get any better in the hospital. Monday night, my boyfriend sat beside her in the hospital bed Hospice brought for her. The two of them are very close, and have only gotten closer through this. They were talking, and she says to him "Anthony, I need to sleep. I need a lot of sleep." He said okay, she said "Good night, I love you." He said goodnight and that he loves her too. He turned the lights off and let her sleep. Tuesday morning she was unable to talk, open her mouth, or move. She was still responsive, she would wake up if you were talking around her or touched her. Today she is much worse, we are giving her morphine every two hours. The hospice nurse came in today and said that the time was near - no more than two or three days. She has been such a blessing to so many people. I have known her for two years, and I see her as my own grandma. She took my boyfriend in when he was young and has raised him his whole life. I ask you guys to pray that she dies peacefully, knowing that everyone around her is okay. She has been a fighter her whole life. This past week she turned 76. In 1954 she had her spleen removed and the doctor said she would live no more than four years. AND SHE'S STILL HERE! When she was diagnosed with breast cancer, we thought that was the end. When she was diagnosed with brain cancer, the doctor said a few weeks.... She is such a fighter. My brother has a strong sixth sense and he said today "It will happen tonight, someone hasn't told her good-bye yet, and they will come tonight. I think its a man." The only people around her that understand what is happening are myself, my family, and my boyfriends parents. Everyone else around her thinks she is going to wake up one day and be perfectly fine. This has been an emotional ride for all of her family and friends.

He moved in with her. and in January he moved back in with me and the children. In February 2008 he moved out again to go back to her. On easter Sunday, he moved in again. My cousin, Henry, was taken to the hospital Sunday morning due to a heart attack. He was to undergo a heart catherization test today and the blockage was so severe that the test could not be completed. They are planning open heart surgery as soon as possible. Junior, as he is called by family and friends, has recently lost both his mother and father who have gone to be with The Lord; and underwent a divorce a few years ago. My husband works for 911, he gets yelled and cussed out by citizens all day. He hears things on a daily basis that no one should have to hear. Just last night he heard a 15 year old boy kill himself, all this with no recognition and very little pay. We have been praying for over a year now that God would lead him a new line of work. My husband is starting to feel hopeless, and I am trying to stay positive for his sake. He has had many job interviews, but there is only so many times that I can tell him that everything happens for a reason. Please pray for our family.
