Operation Butterfly was a mission of
love accomplished. Tammy, who is a cancer survivor,
is SO thankful for the butterfly stickers and notes you
sent, packed with encouragement and life-giving Bible
verses. We had the pleasure of having coffee
together here at the station - Tammy is absolutely
beautiful, shining with the Holy Spirit. All her
words are drenched in grace and gratitude.
So excited to tell you - we have a new way to encourage
Tammy! I want to invite you to join Team
Butterflies and walk to support the Leukemia and
Lymphoma Society this October. They were there for
Tammy when she needed them. And now, she wants to make
sure others receive help in their time of need! Love her
heart. You can raise one dollar and still come out

The Sweet Dreams Project

You can show the Love of Jesus Christ by giving
gently-used or brand new twin sheet sets to the Salvation
Army Center of Hope, Charlotte's shelter, refuge for women
and children. There are 140 children living at the shelter
right now, a record number. Last winter, as our city
froze, we put out the call to you, the shelter's need for
blankets - the goal was to collect 919 blankets - YOU
amazed us by giving over 1000!
Can we do it? Can we collect 919 twin sheet sets for
the moms and kids? You can bring your sheets to any
Salvation Army location in Charlotte or to the shelter,
located uptown, directly.
Just be sure and mark it with love from
New Life 91.9 and
attach a note with a Bible verse and/or a word of
encouragement!

Siskey YMCA in Matthews, but don’t let that scare you - she

Mrs. Fix It
 Meet
a true D.I.Y.er (Do-It-Yourselfer). Basically, Julie
Lambert likes pretty things, and with a tool box
filled with common sense tools and ideas, she's making our
world a more beautiful place. Her joy is rooted in Jesus,
her family, and starting and finishing projects. Julie
says she isn't afraid to wield a hammer and pick up a
paint brush today, because was allowed to tinker as much
as she wanted to as a child on her family farm.
Nowadays, Julie's married to Chris and the mom of two
small boys, who she affectionately calls "The Break Its."
The Lambert family motto is: "We can do this ourselves!"
Julie loves walking into one of the home improvement
stores in town... she says it smells like a project that
is just about to start - fresh and new!
