Children: Myquillyn (yes, we made it up!) and Emily.
Pet: Delly (miniature schnauzer). Is in the process of trying to eat the whole world – she’s about half-done.
What did you do during your childhood summers? I played ‘army men’ with little plastic soldiers, with my brother and my friend Wayne down the street. We made forts and battle lines in the pine needles under trees in the corner of Wayne’s yard. He lived in another neighborhood and we’d be gone from home all day.
What is the best costume you have worn? A looooooooong time ago, in another life, I was a character named “Bonanza Bob” in a parade (in public!) and my wife was my “mail order bride.” (there are rumors of photographic evidence)
What cartoon do you still like to watch? SpongeBob. If I’m ever laid up sick somewhere, bring me SpongeBob.
What job did you have that you would never want to work again? When I was sixteen I worked in a car wash, and had to drive the cars in and out of the wash. I didn’t know how to drive a stick shift and each car owner watched me drive their car all herky-jerky and killing it and restarting it. Lots of flop sweat. Not lots of tips.
How many e-mails are sitting in your inbox? Why are you asking? Did someone say something? Does it really matter?
Where is the funniest place you have ever fallen asleep? Squatting down in front of the fireplace, poking the fire. Good thing I didn’t tip over.
