The medical bills have already topped $200,000. This will be a FREE event, but a love offering will be taken. Singing will feature Willie Helms and Carmen Helms. Food and fellowship will follow the singing.  Several churches in the Union County and Chesterfield County areas are teaming up on this to show Christ's love in a tangible way. Pray America announces their 1st Annual Pray America Charity Golf Tournament on Monday September 27th at the Tega Cay Golf Course.  Proceeds benefit Pray America. Pray America began in the late 1980's to serve those in need in Central America. The ministry settled in 2003 in Chichicastenango, Guatemala with a mission house for prayer and mission teams. South Carolina Baptist Association Ministry to Women present Women Who Request by Prayer Retreat at White Oak Conference Center on Friday, October 29th and Saturday, October 30th.  Registration begins Friday at 3:00pm.   "Women Who Request by Prayer" is a prayer retreat for women of all denominations to learn how to request of God in prayer through Teaching Sessions and practice by praying in Prayer Closet Sessions. It is a model for calling women to prayer that we trust women across the state will adapt and implement in their churches and communities.
